PURPOSE

The Senior Business Analyst will connect business stakeholders, data teams, and technology partners, translating business needs into data products, analytics solutions, and actionable insights.

The role requires hands-on experience in data analysis, requirements management, visualization, solution testing, and stakeholder management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications, business rules, user stories, and solution designs.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions to understand business needs, align priorities, and validate requirements.
• Analyze data to investigate business issues, identify root causes, validate hypotheses, and uncover opportunities.
• Support ad hoc analysis and recurring solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data products.
• Build or support dashboards and visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI.
• Identify data quality issues and work with relevant teams to improve data readiness.
• Develop and execute functional test plans and support UAT and solution adoption.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Architects, Data Governance Leads, and business teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5+ years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, data product delivery, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in data investigation, exploratory analysis, validation, and insight generation.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into analytics solutions and practical recommendations.
• Experience with BI and visualization tools, especially Power BI.
• Understanding of data quality, preparation, and governance principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate data insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

PREFERRED

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with commercial, sales, marketing, consumer, CX, or business performance data.
• Familiarity with LeanIX or business/process modelling tools.
• Experience in agile or product-based delivery environments.
• Relevant business analysis or analytics certifications are a plus.
