JD - Manager Strategy & Program Delivery

Philip Morris Korea Inc. is seeking a strategic and analytical professional to support market strategy development, drive business-critical initiatives, and ensure effective execution of strategic priorities.
 
As part of the Strategy & Planning team, this role partners with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to solve complex business challenges, generate actionable insights, and drive alignment across strategic priorities while collaborating closely with Regional and Global stakeholders.
 
Key Accountabilities
 
Strategy Formulation
• Support the development and execution of market strategy aligned with business priorities and global direction.
• Contribute to annual and long-term strategic planning and translate priorities into actionable plans.
• Drive cross-functional alignment on growth initiatives, strategic pilots, resource allocation, and key business priorities through data-driven analysis and structured problem solving.
• Provide strategic insights and decision support to the Managing Director and Leadership Team, including executive presentations and recommendations.
• Monitor market, consumer, competitor, and business performance trends to identify risks and opportunities.
 
Business Development and Incubation
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including category expansion, adjacent product opportunities, route-to-market initiatives, and strategic partnerships.
• Lead the assessment of selected opportunities by evaluating strategic fit, consumer potential, commercial viability, and regulatory considerations in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
 
Strategy Execution
• Lead the OGSM (Objectives, Goals, Strategies and Measures) process, translating strategy into functional priorities, initiatives, measures, and resource allocation.
• Track strategic initiatives and identify performance gaps, risks, dependencies, and required interventions.
• Facilitate leadership discussions on business priorities, performance, and key decision points.
 
Required Qualifications and Competencies
 
• 10+ years of relevant experience in strategy, finance, business planning, consulting, business development, or related analytical functions.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex and ambiguous business issues.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to translate analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Proven stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, adaptability, and results orientation.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Business-level fluency in both Korean and English.
