TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’

  • Analyze, interpret, and extract implications of current and future fiscal and regulatory issues/legislative developments, and timely provide strategic/tactical recommendations to ensure business stability and sustainability
  • Monitor and develop information / issues / trends on legislatives regarding tobacco products, and keep Management be informed and updated
  • Work with other CA staff to develop, implement and advocate for a comprehensive fiscal and regulatory framework
  • Lead/support other functions in relation with strategic issues by carrying out engagement, research and advocacy. Organize and participate in engagement activities with key government agencies and stakeholders
  • Gather all relevant date and information, draft position papers/reports/presentations on issues, and engage with government officials to present PMK's positions and opinions under the guidance of Director CA. 
  • Develop and disseminate physical and electronic database and information of relevant fiscal / regulatory strategies and activities with other affiliates including RHQ and OC, in order to provide reference and benchmarking materials for current and future regulatory framework.
  • Special tasks and projects asked by Director CA and Managing Director.

 

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in Major of Communication, Politics, Legal or Public administration from University or above
  • At least 10 years of exposure to legislation and government relations, preferably in tobacco-related business.
  • Good command of written and spoken English
