TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’
Understand the business requirements; perform analysis and translation of business requirements to technical specifications; provide solutions design, build and deploy IS solutions and services; provide maintenance and support.
Data Engineering & Platform Delivery
- Lead the design, build, deployment, and optimization of ETL/ELT pipelines on Snowflake and Matillion.
- Implement modular, reusable ingestion patterns and promote shared engineering components across markets.
- Build high‑performance data models, including layered structures, deformalized business‑ready tables, and AI‑ready datasets.
- Drive engineering automation (Python, SQL, CI/CD) to improve reliability and reduce manual work.
- Develop metadata‑rich pipelines with observability (freshness, volume, schema drift, anomaly detection).
- Support batch, micro‑batch, and streaming integrations.
Architecture, Standards & Platform Governance
- Ensure platform design follows global architecture principles and standardized naming conventions.
- Represent the market in global review forums and ensure local enhancements meet global alignment.
- Maintain strict data boundary control and expose only curated datasets.
- Enforce engineering standards and secure‑by‑design practices.
- Ensure compliance with PMI security, privacy, and governance controls.
Data Governance, Quality & Stewardship
- Translate DI&A governance frameworks into market‑level practices.
- Define data quality rules, validation checks, reconciliation routines, and schema governance.
- Maintain metadata in cataloging systems.
- Ensure pipelines comply with governance requirements and support audits.
Stakeholder & Delivery Management
- Partner with business and product owners to gather and translate requirements.
- Communicate timelines, risks, and delivery health.
- Own and manage data platform service meeting Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Own and manage engineering backlog and sprint execution.
- Coordinate testing, validation, deployment, and hypercare.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering and cloud data platforms.
- Expert SQL, data modeling, and modern data architecture skills.
- Experience with Matillion, dbt, Python, and DevOps tooling.
- Experience building AI‑ready datasets and deformalized data models.
- Knowledge of data observability and anomaly detection frameworks.
- Strong understanding of governance, metadata standards, and DQ frameworks.
- Experience leading engineering teams.
