Purpose:

Lead and facilitate Integrated Business Planning process in the Market to deliver business value across a range of dimensions: achieving joined-up cross-functional plan, reaching financial optimization, managing risks and opportunities, balancing demand and supply. Ensure operation of disciplined IBP process enabled by collaborative working between supply chain, commercial and finance – joint analysis and planning, high-quality insights on both internal and external drivers, alignment with corporate strategy and shared metrics and KPIs. Provide continuous support to the development of PMI Operations and Supply Chain Processes, Organization & systems within the framework of PMI’s global operations strategy.

Lead cross-functional Route-to-Market change projects, making supply chain and sales more efficient, cheaper and with faster and better service level.

Your ‘day to day’:

Facilitate Market IBP process with involvement of Commercial, Finance, Marketing and Business Planning teams to achieve following key objectives:

• Regularly review Market sales forecast (volume and value), Market performance versus approved forecast and target, forecasting KPIs. Facilitate preparation and approval of the gap closure plans
• Consolidate the inputs of all Market teams into single sales forecast; ensure that all functions have aligned roles, inputs and outputs within IBP process, and consequently plan and act based on shared information
• Balance demand & supply by aligning commercial and supply chain plans for the medium term (3 to 18 months) horizon
• Proactively identify potential upsides and downsides to the plan and create optimized enterprise responses. In collaboration with Finance monetize business impact from any initiative, creating a culture which embraces business judgement and rational trade-offs
• Together with all involved teams run scenarios simulation based on Market pricing strategies, commercial campaigns, competitors’ activities, and other business intelligence information, to formulate recommendations/decisions on the scenario analysis that maximizes business opportunities and minimizes potential risks

• Properly manage New Product Initiatives and End-of-Life phase-out of products considering market requirements and approved commercial strategies.
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain Synchronization Hub to ensure successful inventory management throughout the supply chain and follow up on product availability at market level
• Manage, motivate, monitor and evaluate the team to ensure a high level of efficiency in the individual and teamwork of employees. Staff the team with qualified candidates who best fit the defined Role Profile. Ensure the necessary level of professional knowledge and skills, as well as the necessary level of interchangeability of employees. Set individual and group challenging objectives, guide, motivate and provide structured feedback. Identify the strengths and development needs of employees; prepare development plans and monitor their implementation.
• Act as a single point of contact for all key decisions related to supply and demand management topics and provide full business support to Market Management team. Listen to long-term Market strategy and direction to pro-actively trigger strategic decisions and actions on Operations side to fulfil long-term Market requirements. Lead or contribute to global / local initiatives to achieve PMI market, Operations or Supply Chain strategies.
• Follow PMO standard work processes to lead and supervise projects that impact cost and P&L through Route-to-Market changes.
• Properly conduct with management and sponsors reviews to gain alignment and support for the execution
• Align other functions to the need, getting buy-in and engagement to project delivery. Typical functions involved would be: finance, sales, distribution, taxes, legal, strategy amd P&C/HR.
• Lead some major projects and supervise junior project managers in simpler projects.
• Work to support Sales changes that impact distribution teams or models.
• Influence other functions to new optimization ideas.
• search for additional opportunities in cost to serve and staff a project team to deliver the optimizations.

Who we’re looking for:

• University Degree or post-graduate diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related fields will be an advantage
• 5-10 years of work experience within Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or Electronics industry with exposure to Supply Chain, Sales Strategy, Business Planning & Development or Finance
• 5+ years of Leadership/People management 
• Working knowledge of with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, PBI) - Experienced User, ability to use financial concepts & terminology (profit & loss, cash flow statement), principles of budget cycle (OB, RF) of SAP, Supply Chain Planning, Forecasting Solutions (E2OPEN suite, ForecastPro), Financial Planning systems is a strong plus.
