Purpose of the Role
Accelerate Digital and AI value creation across Manufacturing by driving use-case ideation, rapid experimentation, industrialization, and scaled adoption in alignment with Manufacturing Transformative Programs. The role serves as a key catalyst for business impact at both site and regional levels, partnering closely with Digital Engineering, PMI Tech, GM PD&G, and the OPS Digital Delivery Model while building sustainable digital and AI capabilities across factories.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize high-value Digital and AI use cases aligned with Manufacturing and Operations priorities, ensuring a strong pipeline of scalable opportunities.
- Lead and support the execution of Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and Proofs of Value (PoVs), validating business value, technical feasibility, and scalability through a "fail fast, learn fast" approach.
- Partner with Global Digital and AI teams during MVP development by validating requirements, coordinating UAT and readiness activities, and supporting change management and operational adoption.
- Act as a deployment ambassador, coordinating local resources and stakeholders to accelerate implementation, adoption, and value realization across sites and regions.
- Develop and nurture Digital and AI communities, promoting PMI-approved tools such as M365 Copilot and AI Playground while driving digital capability building and innovation.
- Build strong partnerships with Factory Leadership Teams, Regional Operations and Engineering functions, and Global Digital and Technology teams, serving as a bridge between business needs and digital execution.
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Process Control, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
- 5-6 years of experience leading Digital Transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives within manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience driving cross-functional digital programs and translating business challenges into practical Digital and AI solutions.
- Strong understanding of Digital Manufacturing architectures, including OT, IT, AI, and Cloud technologies.
- Hands-on exposure to AI-enabled use cases such as analytics, optimization, automation, and intelligent decision-making.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, MVP development, product-based delivery, and rapid experimentation frameworks.
- Knowledge of Operational Excellence, productivity improvement, quality, and maintenance processes.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, collaborate across global teams, adapt to change, and drive innovation with strong business acumen and leadership skills.
