Roles & Objectives

As an Intern you will be part of our Marketing Department for Philip Morris Italia and will be reporting to Retail Design Coordinator. The position will be based in Roma.

Please include a summary of the role's objectives/the general purpose of the internship:

During this internship, your main goal will be to gain hands-on experience and develop skills in the Retail Design sector. You will focus on learning the best practices and techniques in the retail environment while actively contributing to ongoing projects . An additional priority will be improving your ability to work in teams, tackle complex tasks, and apply the theoretical knowledge gained in a professional setting. You will have the opportunity to work closely with an experienced team, actively contributing to real projects and learning how to design functional, aesthetically pleasing environments that enhance the customer experience.

Specific Responsibilities:

• RETAIL OPENINGS: Support the deployment of the retail plan in agreement with business plan
• BRAND RETAIL CONCEPT: Ensure adherence to the global retail concept. Support the co-creation and adaptation of the brand
• COMMUNICATION CAMPAIGN ADAPTATION FOR RETAIL ENVIRONMENT: Support the co-creation with Brand Content and Engagement team for the development and adaptation of the calendar initiatives with reference to brand retail channel
• AGENCY & SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP: Support effective and efficient business partner relationships to achieve company objectives.
• VISUAL MERCHANDISING TOOLBOX MANAGEMENT: Support the execution of VM and cross channel materials. Support developing and delivering ad hoc solutions to sustain brand power and consumer experience in different channels

Who we’re looking for 

• Degree in Marketing, Management, Business Administration , Design or related fields
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluent in English and in Italian
• Strong communication skills
• Understanding of current retail trends and consumer behavior to create innovative and functional design solutions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines

• Ability to work alone, in team and to engage with multi-functional stakeholders
