Roles & Objectives

As an Intern you will be part of our Loyalty Department for Philip Morris Italia and will be reporting to the Loyalty Supervisor. The position will be based in Rome.

You will join the Loyalty team and gain hands-on experience in the management of the IQOS CLUB Loyalty Program. Throughout the internship, you will support daily platform operations, help coordinate with other business departments, creative agencies, Tech teams and external suppliers. You will actively contribute to the definition and continuous improvement of the loyalty program by supporting the team in its day-to-day operations. This role is designed to give you endtoend exposure to how a digital loyalty platform works, allowing you to learn by doing in a collaborative, fastpaced environment.

Specific Responsibilities:

Digital Platform & Operations

  • Support daily operational activities related to the IQOS CLUB loyalty platform.
  • Assist with CMS management, including content uploads, updates, and quality checks.
  • Support stock management and catalogue availability monitoring.
  • Help ensure platform content and experiences are always up to standard and compliant with the legal framework.

Product Sprints & Project Support

  • Assist in managing product sprints, supporting coordination between business and tech teams
  • Assist in managing the product backlog and tracking requirements, updates, and delivery milestones.
  • Support testing activities (UAT), identifying issues, and validating fixes before release.
  • Support in managing and prioritizing the Help Desk ticket backlog and liaising with the Customer Service Center team

Supplier & Agency Management

  • Support the management and coordination of external suppliers and creative agencies.
  • Help prepare briefings for creative agencies, ensuring clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Assist in reviewing outputs to ensure alignment with brand guidelines, project requirements and legal frameworks.

Content & Catalogue Management

  • Support content production for the loyalty platform, working with internal stakeholders and agencies.
  • Assist in managing the loyalty catalogue, including product listings, descriptions, visuals, and pricing updates.
  • Help ensure coherence and consistency across all content touchpoints.

Reporting & Presentations

  • Support the creation of PowerPoint presentations for internal updates, project reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Assist with basic reporting and analysis on Microsoft Excel and Power BI related to platform performance, operational activities and program KPIs.

 

Who we’re looking for:

 

  • Degree in Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Management Engineering Economics or related fields
  • Literacy in MS Office Suite
  • Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)
  • Strong interest in digital platforms, loyalty programs, eCommerce, or CRM.
  • Comfortable working with digital tools, CMS platforms, and basic data/reporting.
  • Good organizational skills, attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A previous experience in loyalty, digital or CRM roles will be considered a strong plus
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, project management tools (such as Jira, Trello or Asana), CMS and Power BI will be considered a plus.
