We are currently looking for an Agronomy & Sustainability Executive (fixed-term contract) to join our Leaf team based in Bastia Umbra (PG).
Your Purpose
As an Agronomy & Sustainability you will play a key role in driving agronomic programs and sustainability initiatives across Italy. You will work closely with growers, field teams and external partners, providing technical expertise to ensure the effective execution of field activities and alignment with corporate sustainability goals. You will monitor service providers and their KPIs, contribute to the implementation of best practices and support the Project Manager by tracking, documenting and facilitating the progress of ongoing agricultural and sustainability projects. This role will offer the opportunity to make a direct impact within a dynamic and evolving environment.
Your ‘Day To Day’
- Data Analysis & Reporting: perform data analysis to support decision‑making, evaluate project performance and drive continuous improvement, preparing reports, dashboards and presentations with Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI while maintaining accurate records, KPIs and documentation of outcomes.
- Stakeholder & Supplier Engagement: support coordination and communication with growers, suppliers, technical partners and other external stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely information flow and contributing to the organization and execution of field visits, audits and meetings.
- Communication: prepare communication materials related to Sustainability and Agronomy activities, collaborate on scheduling on‑site visits, develop periodic Agronomy progress reports and create debriefs for internal teams and external partners based on opportunities identified through events, conferences and workshops.
- Contracts & Administration: support the preparation of the Budget, provide input on agronomy service contracts, gather quotations for ad hoc initiatives, ensure accurate issuance of Purchase Orders and track invoices and payments for services delivered.
- Cross‑Functional Learning & Operations Support: demonstrate openness to building cross‑functional capabilities, collaborate with buying and processing teams to gain full value‑chain understanding and apply integrated knowledge to strengthen project execution, stakeholder collaboration and operational alignment.
Who we’re looking for:
- Degree in Agronomy or a related field.
- Previous relevant experience is considered a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data, KPIs and reporting tools.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and familiarity with Power BI.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage administrative tasks.
- Willingness to collaborate cross‑functionally and learn across the full value chain.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Willingness to travel.
Work location: Bastia Umbra (PG).
Temporary contract – 6 months.
