Role summary:
As a Manager External Affairs Latvia you will drive corporate affairs strategies and stakeholder engagement to support business objectives and represent the company’s position on key regulatory and public issues.
You will:
- Support corporate affairs strategies and initiatives under Director Corporate Affairs guidance.
- Build strong relationships with government, media, and industry stakeholders.
- Monitor and advise on legislative and regulatory developments affecting the tobacco industry.
- Contribute to strategic planning and ensure effective execution of action plans and budgets.
- Support business priorities in areas like taxation, product regulation, and manufacturing.
- Develop and implement internal and external communication plans.
- Represent the company publicly and act as spokesperson when needed.
- Maintain stakeholder networks to promote company positions and reputation.
- Engage with industry organizations to advocate for fair legislation and regulation.
- Oversee corporate contribution programs that align with business and societal needs.
- Strengthen corporate identity.
We expect that you:
- Have a higher education degree in Business, Political Science, Social Sciences or similar.
- Have proven experience working in a regulatory environment within national or international organizations (experience at the EU level is an advantage).
- Have exceptional analytical thinking with the ability to interpret complex information and anticipate implications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in English and the Latvian language (both spoken and written).

Salary range for this role is 5800 EUR gross to 6800 EUR gross. The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate.
