About the job
Be a part of a revolutionary change.
At PMI, we’ve chosen to do something incredible. We are transforming our business and shaping our future around one clear purpose – to deliver a smoke‑free future.
Within Product Services, we are operating in a rare moment where technology, innovation, and organisational ambition have aligned to create the ideal environment for outstanding work. As we accelerate our journey to replace cigarettes with breakthrough smoke‑free products, your contribution will directly support the launch and evolution of innovative devices across global markets.
Your ‘day to day’
We are looking for a Product Services Lead to join us on a 12‑month contract, supporting our global Smoke‑Free Product (SFP) initiatives. In this role, you will serve as a key link between Product Development, Operations, and our global Electronics Manufacturing Sites (EMS), ensuring the accurate management of product data and the seamless commercialisation of new and updated devices.
You will:
- Ensure all finished goods (FG), packaging specifications, and product information are accurately defined and maintained in PMI systems.
- Lead and support commercial execution activities such as new product introductions (NPI), new technology introductions (NTI), technical transfers (TT), market activations, and limited‑edition launches.
- Create and maintain product codes, packaging codes, and Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring correctness, compliance, and readiness for manufacturing.
- Govern changes throughout the product lifecycle using established PMI approval processes (e.g., ECN, eDDA).
- Coordinate with EMS and Reverse Operations teams to ensure system readiness, risk mitigation, and proper controls for each product change.
- Cascade technical documentation and Engineering Change Notifications to manufacturing teams to prepare for production and shipment.
- Conduct feasibility studies and propose solutions for component transitions, regulatory changes, complexity reduction, and obsolescence management.
- Prepare and deliver Gate 4 evaluations and post‑launch assessments, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Maintain PMI’s specifications and data systems (PLM/PDIMS), ensuring they serve as a single, reliable source of product information.
- Support complexity reduction initiatives by driving system clean‑ups, process improvements, and governance disciplines.
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years of experience in NPI, electronics manufacturing, operations, or supply‑chain environments.
- Strong experience in configuration management, BOM structures, and product data governance.
- Proven experience in supporting or leading commercialisation or technical projects.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple parallel activities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to collaborate across functions and global teams.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Analytical, solutions‑oriented, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in fast‑moving environments.
