Your ‘day to day’
We are seeking a Manager, Capacity & Footprint Planning, who will provide strategic leadership and direction for mid- to long-term capacity and footprint development. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams and senior management to support data-driven decision-making and ensure manufacturing and network strategies align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead PMI’s global mid to long term capacity and footprint strategy on electronic product devices & accessories based upon robust mid/ long term scenario planning to anticipate supply vs demand challenges. Collaborate with procurement, Electronics Operations, finance, business planning and category team
- Lead the capacity governance to ensure all capacity and footprint are implemented as per agreed strategy. Mitigate any deviations vs agreed strategy in cross function collaboration with electronics Ops, procurement and EMS
- Define and lead the development of robust resilience strategy to ensure business continuity of the electronics product device & accessories
- Develop and lead the business volume and platform growth scenarios, conducting risk and opportunity assessments to proactively identify capacity constraints, and investment requirements. Recommend mitigation strategies to ensure sustainable business growth and operational resilience.
- Act as contact / reference point for any topic related to global capacity and footprint planning for electronics product devices & accessories within PMI.
- Act as a role model in compliance management by carrying out all of the accountabilities above in a legal and ethical manner and in line with PM compliance policies and external regulations
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Business Statistics.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain functions (e.g., business planning, production planning, demand planning, customer fulfillment). Experience in electronics industry is a benefit.
- Strong background in S&OP processes and master data flow across systems.
- Experience in multinational environments, preferably in electronics. 3–6 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Prior experience in change management.
- Ability to translate planning outcomes into strategic business decisions.
- Understand global strategies and convert them into actionable plans.
- Clear, concise communication across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Effective collaboration and conflict resolution.
- Strong follow-through, barrier removal, and fostering a learning culture
