The Data & Analytics Business Partner (Analytics Translator) plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between Data Analytics and multiple complex business units within the affiliate. Leveraging advanced data analytics, this role assesses intricate processes, determines comprehensive requirements, and delivers strategic data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders. The Business Partner builds strong partnerships with senior stakeholders across diverse departments, translates complex business questions into actionable analytics solutions, and drives the widespread adoption of these solutions to deliver significant business value. Working closely with various departments, the role facilitates a deep understanding of data, enables informed decision-making, and crafts compelling data narratives.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Lead advanced analytics initiatives for complex business questions and needs across multiple functional domains.
• Oversee large-scale data-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and strategic alignment with business objectives.
• Build and manage partnerships with senior stakeholders, including heads of business processes in areas such as Brand, Commercial, Consumer, and Programs.
• Identify, evaluate, and size significant business opportunities, providing strategic data-driven consulting to market leaders.
• Collaborate with teams of Data Analysts and Data Scientists to ensure data-driven recommendations are based on comprehensive and robust analysis. Translate complex business questions into sophisticated analytics solutions and influence executive leaders with data-backed strategic insights.
• Provide high-level problem-solving support during analytics solution conceptualization and delivery. Proactively drive the adoption and demonstrate the value proposition of analytics solutions across the market.
• Apply agile methodologies to deliver value in iterative, incremental manners.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret large and complex datasets to provide actionable strategic insights

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES 

• College/University degree in B.Sc. in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis or business analysis roles
• Proficiency with data visualization tools like Power BI and other enterprise BI platforms.
• Proficiency with advanced Data & Analytics technologies. Extensive experience with SQL, data modeling, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
• Skilled in value realization, collaboration, negotiation, influence, and strategic vision.
• Extensive experience with data governance principles to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Exceptional ability to manage relationships with senior and executive partners.
• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into sophisticated analytical solutions.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
• Superior communication skills, including the ability to convey strategic vision and complex information to non-technical executive stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify complex issues and propose effective solutions.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to analyze large and complex datasets to provide meaningful and strategic insights.
• Expert storytelling skills to present data in a compelling and easily understandable manner
• Leadership skills and people management experience
