We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor to lead production operations within a high-performance, world-class manufacturing environment. This role is suited to someone who enjoys working close to operations, leading teams, and driving consistent delivery against quality, efficiency, and production targets.

You will be responsible for supervising manufacturing activities, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting a team with varied strengths to perform at their best in a structured, inclusive environment.

Your Day-to-Day

 

Production & Operations

  • Oversee the preparation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production equipment (machining, processing, assembly, and packaging)
  • Ensure production is performed in line with specifications, schedules, and volume, cost, and loss targets
  • Monitor production quality, identifying, removing, or reworking defective products
  • Ensure accurate daily production reporting to support performance tracking and analysis
  • Lead the movement, handling, sorting, and packaging of raw materials and finished goods
  • Oversee machine setup, calibration, and operation to maintain optimal performance

 

Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Lead, coach, and support a team of production and operational staff
  • Provide clear direction on daily tasks, priorities, and work plans
  • Set and monitor daily and weekly performance targets to ensure consistent output
  • Create a respectful, inclusive, and high-performing team environment
  • Provide regular feedback and support team development

 

Process, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure alignment to company policies, procedures, and operational standards
  • Drive compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements
  • Apply continuous improvement principles (e.g. Open+, Lean, TPM) to improve efficiency and reduce losses
  • Monitor consistency to standard operating procedures and production systems
  • Identify and implement process improvements to resolve recurring issues

 

Equipment & Problem Solving

  • Supervise installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment or process-related issues using standard methods and experience
  • Recommend and implement improvements to systems and processes to optimize performance

 

What We’re Looking For

  • National Diploma or Degree in Engineering or relevant qualification is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment
  • At least 2 years’ experience leading or supervising teams
  • Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written) is crucial
  • Minimum 2 years on maintaining or operating equipment
  • Proven track record within a world-class manufacturing environment (e.g. Open+, Lean, TPM) is essential
  • Strong exposure to production processes, equipment operations, and continuous improvement
  • Comfortable working in a bilingual environment

 

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Solid understanding of production systems and performance tracking
  • Hands-on experience with machine operation, setup, cleaning, and basic mechanical principles
  • Knowledge of quality management and defect control processes
  • Familiarity with equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of HSE standards and compliance
