We are looking for a Agronomy Lead who will be based in Plant Sukorejo - East Java.

 

Your ‘day to day’: 

  • Ensure the implementation of Good Agricultural Practices across Clusters, VI’s, markets and suppliers as well as their continuous update in order to upgrade/improve crops through the adoption of relevant agricultural techniques
  • Responsible of establishing action /improvement plans with suppliers/VIs, having in consideration company requirements of Quality, Integrity, Sustainability, EA and any other.
  • Follow up crops development at different stages, being part of alignment and solution for any agricultural problem and deviation from GAPs
  • Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure awarness and program objectives are understood and agreed by the stakeholders.
  • Collaborate in the design and management of projects to scout and evaluate new technologies, new agriculture/modern practices, managing cost efficiencies and impacts on a sustainable production for farmers and ecosystems.
  • Perform GAP assessments and documents findings and action plans
  • Support Leaf Buyers and other Cluster representatives during later stages of crops, assessing together quality paramenters, volume estimations and any other field and crop related KPI. 

 

Who we’re looking for:   

  • Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy Engineer/Science, Agricultural Production, or other related degree.
    Post Graduate degree is a plus
  • Minimum 3 years of practical experience in crop production environments.
  •  Good knowledge in Agricultural economics, ecosystem dynamics and mechanisms
  • Good Project Management skills, Stakeholder Management and Analytical skills
  • Have Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven records working with cross-functional programs, in multi-national and multi-cultural environment.
  • Strong collaboration, coordination and team player 
  • Open-minded, innovative and adaptable
