Role Overvie
The Vape Portfolio Senior Specialist is responsible for defining and deploying the eVapor portfolio calendar to drive growth, innovation, and competitiveness. This role ensures alignment with the approved category strategy and business objectives, while maximizing overall value and ROI from the portfolio.
It requires strong strategic thinking, advanced project management capabilities, and a deep understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Accountabilities
Strategic Alignment
• Ensure the portfolio calendar and all initiatives are continuously aligned with category and organizational strategic goals
• Deliver against consumer needs through strategic planning and execution
Portfolio Management
• Manage the creation of Marketing Start Forms, ensuring timely and accurate completion in line with PMI’s Gates process
• Collaborate with PPMD to follow up on project deployment, feasibility checks, and retroplanning
• Partner with the OCS team to define volumes, monitor projections, and ensure timely product arrival
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure smooth execution of all portfolio initiatives
Performance Monitoring
• Track progress and performance of the portfolio, identifying gaps, issues, and opportunities
• Propose corrective actions when necessary and provide regular updates to key stakeholders
• Present portfolio performance metrics, achievements, challenges, and recommended actions
Portfolio Optimization
• Continuously evaluate and adjust the portfolio composition to deliver optimal consumer value
• Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, fostering a culture of learning and growth
Consumer and Market Knowledge
• Develop deep understanding of consumer preferences and category dynamics
• Ensure portfolio differentiation and competitiveness by staying informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
Portfolio Activation
• Lead and project manage portfolio launches within a cross-functional setup
• Define new product innovation launches and ad hoc campaigns to support category objectives
• Align initiatives with consumer journey needs and commercial opportunities assessed with the CX team
Regulation and Marketing Code
• Ensure all portfolio initiatives adhere to local regulations and PMI’s Marketing Code
Requirements:
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in brand marketing, portfolio management, or category strategy roles
• Proven track record in managing cross-functional projects and launching consumer-centric initiatives
• Strong analytical and project management skills, with attention to detail and execution excellence
• Experience working in regulated environments and adhering to compliance standards
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
