Your ‘day to day’:

The purpose of the Software Quality Engineer role is to represent broad proficiency in the business process support, functionality and features of a particular application, including deep specialization in one or more specific functional areas within the application. The Software Quality Engineer is independently involved in solution development and enhancement to ensure test quality in all steps of the development, capture test requirements and ensure sustainable test solutions to requirements, as well as designing and configuring the test application present solution options, capture requirements and ensure sustainable solutions to requirements, as well as designing and configuring the test application. The Software Quality Engineer also contributes with knowledge in solution management, maintenance and user support

 

Who we’re looking for:

  • Capture, define and document functional and non-functional solution and test requirements
  • Create robust, performance optimized, efficient, scalable, reusable and value adding functional and test designs to fulfill solution requirements
  • Document design, code, configuration and test procedures, and assure correctness in all related documents
  • Maintain solutions and support users according to agreed service levels
  • Continuously acquire the skills required to support and configure the services and components within the scope of responsibilities
  • Manage projects and activities including defining and executing project/activity scope, time plan and budget
  • May serve as Service Manager meaning taking responsibility for the Service and driving the Service team around an application

 

What’s ‘nice to have’?

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Education in the field of computer science, software engineering, information technology, business administration or equivalent training/experience.
  • Strong skills in DynFO, AzureDevOps and related applications and understanding of associated best practices
  • Strong ownership of responsibilities

  • Collaborative with Group IT colleagues, business colleagues and vendors.
  • Advocate of teamwork
  • Planning and organizing work of others, with strong influence from modern ways of working with IT

 

Experience:

  • At least 3+ years’ experience in a relevant position
  • At least 5+ years’ work experience
  • Education in the field of computer science, software engineering, information technology, business administration or equivalent training/experience

Annual Base Salary Range: $82,500 - $110,000
