Our Product Master Data Coordinator will facilitate the finished goods router process and coordinate with internal master data owners to ensure accurate and timely introduction of finished goods data into the ERP system. This role manages the finished goods data synchronization process with external customers, ensuring proper publication of product data in customer systems. The candidate will educate the organization on process requirements and compliance standards, collaborate with Information Services on system improvements and upgrades, and support the order management team by resolving manual holds and system errors. Additionally, this role is responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining finished package products, BOM formulations, and specifications in PLM.
This position sits with our Swedish Match affiliate.
Your ‘day to day’
- Serve as the subject matter expert on master data systems, ensuring data integrity, accurate reporting, and effective associate training.
- Provide end‑to‑end business support for Finished Goods Master Data delivery into the ERP system.
- Support master data services including data quality reporting, mass updates, data analysis, and alignment with governance standards.
- Coordinate with Functional Business Leads, Master Data Content teams, and Master Data Governance to define delivery cycle scope and ensure accurate execution.
- Ensure data standardization, consistency, and accuracy across all item masters by validating required fields.
- Maintain accountability for the efficiency, accuracy, and integrity of the master data system.
- Drive coordination with departmental data owners to ensure timely data delivery.
- Facilitate defect management and resolution in partnership with Business Leads.
- Assess delivery cycle health and remove barriers to improve workflow across teams.
- Define tools and processes that streamline data input and establish effective auditing practices.
- Research and implement enhancements to the master data system structure to improve efficiency, flexibility, and automation, including router automation.
- Perform additional tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.
Who we’re looking for:
Education
- College degree or equivalent experience.
Experience
- Minimum 6 months working with Master Data systems.
- Demonstrated expertise and leadership in Master Data Management.
- Strong understanding of business systems.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong planning, prioritizing, and organizational abilities.
- Methodical, detail‑oriented, and able to work under time pressure.
- Advocates for quality and accuracy; proactive and decisive.
- Strong knowledge of Master Data Management, Global Data Synchronization, manufacturing/distribution operations, problem‑solving, sales processes, and project team leadership.
- Systems knowledge including PLM, ERP, and related tools.
Other Requirements
- Ability to prepare concise, accurate reports.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Annual Base Salary Range: $ 80,000 - $100,000
