Your day-to-day:
- Support and facilitate the market's scientific engagement overall goal to create awareness and acceptance of PMI’s RRP science to the external world to pave the way for successful commercialization and regulation of RRP’s, and other activities required in achieving the department's objectives;
- Support the execution of the scientific engagement plans to increase the understanding and interests within the scientific and medical community of PMI’s scientific approach and results;
- Support scientific networking opportunities such as scientific conferences/events and articles in scientific journals; creating market specific plans to capitalize on these opportunities and execute in collaboration with R&D scientists and market EA and Communications;
- Support in establishing & enhancing contacts in the scientific and medical communities, scientific stakeholders, parliament, political parties & governmental bodies to open communication channels between PM and key decision makers. This includes the communicating PM’s position on key issues to influence decision-making;
- Support engagements, networking and building allies/coalitions in THR and the creation of a welcoming RRP environment locally. Proactively communicate company’s views and positions in support of tobacco harm reduction. Analyze intelligence and observations from these engagements, refining action plans when necessary;
- Support the facilitation and review of scientific content/materials or locally initiated research (literature review or studies);
- Facilitate appropriate scientific spokesperson for external and media scientific communications for the market.
Who we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years in healthcare domain of relevant work experience engaging on scientific topics in depth with a broad range of audience;
- Experience in life sciences or pharmaceutical industry, ideally in Medical Affairs e.g. Medical Communications, Medical Science Liaison or Medical Information;
- Experience in multinational companies preferred, international experience a plus;
- Cross functional experience in R&D, law, sales, marketing, operations, planning or general management a plus;
- Strong communications and engagement skills are a must and experience in public speaking is an advantage;
- English proficiency – upper intermediate or higher is preferable.
