For our team based in Almaty (Kazakhstan) we are looking for a Manager Consumer Insights & Analytics (Manager Research)
Your ‘day to day’:
- Conduct real-time market-level analyses to generate consumer insights using consumer feedback. This will be used to create root cause analyses to build hypotheses that feed into actions / further research / FFWD projects
- Perform analyses to identify actions that will lead to conversion of Detractors to Passives and Passives to Promoters, applying a variety of analytical techniques to perform root cause analysis, including data mining and collaborating with partners
- Combine consumer research, business KPIs and financial data to calculate customer equity / ROI analysis and conduct post launch measurement of Inner loop initiatives
- Identify and improve gaps in data structure to ensure smooth flow of data for mining.
- Collaborating with our partner agencies and the Regional Market Research Cluster with regards to data integrity, analyses and overall service development. Occassionally working with colleagues from other Hubs or Clusters on special projects, including Human Insights and Behaviour Research team.
Who we are looking for:
- Higher education; Background in mathematics, statistics and advanced analytics. Experience with behavioral economics or economics are also advantageous.

+10 years working experience; experience with consumer insightsGood with data processing: SQL and calculations with it, data visualization (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, Power Point), scripting languages (Python, R) is critical to role.

Experience working with text analytics, process mining, b2c customer oriented metrics is a plus.

Experience working with consumer journey studies and Customer Experience is preferred. Additionally having worked on identifying & solving problems with ad hoc studies is preferred.

Playing a role in developing of organization information capabilities is expected, so experience with preparing requirements for datamarts, data processing and ETL processes is a plus.
- Advanced level of English is preferable.
- The candidate will be expected to be comfortable extracting insights from quantitative and qualitative data, and 'connecting the dots' across multiple data sources. High attention to detail is expected along with an entrepreneurial, result driven mindset. Communication & influencing skills will help to deliver against objectives in a dynamic matrix organization as well as a demonstrated high level of collaboration across functions. Storytelling (balancing between insights and actionability in a compelling, clear and impactful way) and manifested managerial talent is a strong plus. Comfortable working in a virtual teams and working across cultures. Comfortable with travelling globally as required.
