For our hub in Almaty (Kazakhstan) we are looking for a Head of Data, Insights Analyst
In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering consumer and business insights to the local geography. Your key role is to align with stakeholders on the key priorities for the market/ hub and ensure that you can recommend the right research strategy to be able to help the business achieve their objectives. This includes all categories with a specific focus on consumer understanding to build multi category.
You'll be responsible to marshal resources not only in CIA function, but information sitting in commercial, IT, IBS and other teams locally, regionally and centrally and deliver clear, decisive insight and help in strategic decision making process including planning, managing and delivering all output of Insights function to support commercialization and growth of CC/SFP categories.
The role is strategic and business partner oriented, demanding that the individual can work successfully with External Affairs, Digital, Finance, Marketing, Sales and Commercial Deployment Teams. It shares user number, conversion and abandonment target along with the commercial teams in the market and hence needs to be regarded at the same level of seniority.
Main accountabilities:
- Ensure strategic thinking of the growth plan and insights needed to meet the business targets. Delivery of integrated reports, workshops, issue based analysis to build awareness, reduce abandonment and improve consumer journey across the funnel. Increase number of LAU and conversion rate. Ensure higher Brand NPS.
- Collaborate with the regional head of other categories to provide essential market insights, assisting in the comprehension of the local business landscape, its cross-category effects, and regional sensitivities, thereby empowering the regional lead to deliver the required business insight.
- Advise the central data products team on market representation, methodology and necessary local pecularities to be able to roll out key data products for their respective geography. Synthesize the findings across different trackers to deliver critical business insights building on key business or consumer problems and ways to resolve them
- Managing team motivation, giving clear direction in terms of next steps, bigger objective , business acument development etc. Clarity in terms of work to be done, timelines, expectations of work quality. Doing proper assessment of the team on talent management and suggest growth plan for direct reports. Also manage regional and central teams in CIA, being clear and precise in terms of needs and delivery from central or regional teams. helping them as needed. preempting and highlighting market-level requirements and agenda.
- Drive the CIA agenda within the local organization. Able to explain and build on consumer centricity across all grades in the relevant geography. Stand up to consumer centricity focus, help business and question them on non strategic decision making. Being able to participate at the local management team level and participate actively to drive consumer thinking while being aware of business targets. Collaborate with functions beyond commercial to design and drive consumer centricity.
Who we are looking for:
- Higher education: Bachelor/ Master degree in related areas - Maths, statistics, communication, sociology etc.
- Minimum 12 years experience working in consumer insights and or marketing or other commercial functions
- Proficient in digital tools related to statistics, data gathering anlysis, interpretation. Communication skills. Good business understanding, partners engagement, high level of human centricity. Advanced level of English is preferable.
