Main accountabilities
- To act as the organizational authority on analyzing the scope and the context of short-term and long-term business requirements that IT solutions must meet. Alignment of business requirements with IT Strategy. Evaluating business requirements critically, to support the transformation agenda and to improve resources for initiatives that add most value:
- Be aware of the Consumer and / or Commercial system landscape in the Philip Morris International. Understand what related IT systems and capabilities are in place. Consider B2C, B2B, B2B2C and Data platforms and products roadmaps.
- Translate the struggles and challenges of consumers into detailed technical requirements.
- Interpret the business need and identify solution recommendations to business problems at a business unit level. Ensure delivery of optimal IT solutions.
- Project Governance:
- Operate within a Project Based Organization framework for decision making and customer relationships management.
- Ensure project compliance with the organization’s wider program and/or portfolio management decision-making structures and processes.
- Ensure adoption of effective Project Management practices by IT and business community.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Act as a business partner to key internal customers. Cultivate partnerships and build strong working relationships to address the needs and concerns of team members in line with IT/PMI Strategy.
- Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolve complex or contentious queries and issues and enable others to take appropriate actions.
- Manage a significant IT operational area for the Consumer and Commercial organizations to create the highest level of efficiency possible within that area:
- Plan, organize, control and evaluate Information Solutions and Digital data operations.
- Make sure the organization's Information Technology (IT) functions accurately and that data is reliable. Also, ensure that IT and Digital solutions align with IT Systems control objectives, laws, regulations, and the IT Policy Framework.
Budgeting and Cost Management
- Manage costs from early opportunity sizing to closure, including argument creation, continuous justification, spend tracking, and benefits.
- Developing a compelling Argument in collaboration with the collaborators.
- Understanding the relevant financial concepts and mechanisms. Planning and delivering a budget for the own area of the organization (Project and BAU experience).
Develop IT organization in scope. Motivating people and promoting a learning and growth culture.
Accomplish information technology staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees and 3rd parties where applicable.
Requirements
Sophisticated spoken and written English
University degree in Computer Sciences/ Information Systems/ Engineering / Digital would be an advantage.
+ 3 years of IT experience in a multinational company Proven working experience on IT Leadership roles or relevant experience. Domain of Commercial, Consumer, e-Commerce, Retail solutions would be an advantage.
Eye for business in commercial processes. Business processes design experience.
Very good knowledge of IT solutions management and support, Digital or Data capabilities, Information analysis or computer software systems
Project Management experience, very good understanding of Agile practices
ITIL Service Manager certified / or equivalent would be an advantage.
Understanding of General IT Controls process would be an advantage.
Understanding of Cybersecurity requirements for Consumer facing IT / Digital solutions would be an advantage.
