Role summary

As a Junior Key Account Manager, you will contribute to the commercial performance of our portfolio by working closely with experienced Key Account Managers and cross‑functional teams. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and take part in customer interactions to help execute our retail commercial plans-. A key part of the role is to collect, structure and analyse customer and market insights, and turn them into actionable input that drives our commercial agenda. 

 
You will also be involved in planning and following up on account investments, tracking activities and helping ensure resources are used efficiently.  

 

This role offers a strong opportunity to build a solid foundation in key account management, develop strong stakeholder relationships and take on increasing responsibility over time. This role is ideal for someone with a few years of experience in FMCG who enjoys combining customer interaction, commercial planning and data-driven insights to improve performance. 

 
 

Your “day to day” 

  • Use data and performance signals to spot opportunities or issues and recommend adjustments to plans to drive better commercial outcomes. 
  • Follow up on POS performance (visibility, pricing, share of shelf) together with the field force team and support targeted improvement actions. 
  • Participate in customer meetings and business reviews by preparing materials, gathering input and supporting follow-ups that move the business forward. 
  • Collect and structure customer and market insights, such as distribution gaps, category shifts and performance trends, to support commercial decisions. 
  • Assist with planning and tracking account investments to ensure efficient use of resources and support implementation of Youth Access Prevention (YAP) requirements. 

 

 

Who you are 

You are an analytically curious individual who enjoys working with data, performance signals and category dynamics to understand what drives results. We also see that you have strong communication skills and an interest in commercial decision‑making, with the motivation to grow your commercial capabilities and develop into a Key Account Manager in the future. 

 
We believe you have: 

  • A university degree in economics, business, marketing or a related field. 
  • Around 1–3 years of experience in FMCG, preferably in sales, category, field operations or trade marketing. 
  • Experience or exposure to commercial negotiations is an advantage. 
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative mindset. 
  • An interest in customer insights and performance data. 
  • A structured, proactive working style and the ability to think one step ahead. 
  • Curiosity and ambition to grow toward broader key account responsibilities over time. 
  • You are fluent in English and Norwegian, with strong communication skills in both languages.
