Your ‘day to day’:

• Develop and implement corporate communication strategies to build and enhance the corporate equity of Philip Morris Cyprus.
• Work with different teams to ensure they have the messaging and assets to drive understanding of the company's transformation, corporate identity, strategy and vision.
• Creating and distributing public communications (media releases, speeches, presentations, press conferences, other events).
• Developing and deploying successful global Public Relations campaigns to engage regulators, key opinion leaders, and civil society.
• Oversee branding, messaging, and content development for public campaigns.
• Coherently and effectively develop relationships with journalists and other members of the media including for the purposes of building knowledge and trust.
• Identify, nurture and grow relationships in the civil society space; Preparing executive business leaders for media interactions.
• Collaborate with industry associations, agencies and other stakeholders to communicate PMI’s smoke-free vision.
• Support employee engagement initiatives to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Monitor traditional and digital media daily to identify and report on issues, trends and public sentiment relevant to the company’s operations and objectives.
• Manage the sustainability organization and core activities to continuously improve sustainability performance.
• Develop and execute communication strategies to highlight PM CY’s sustainability initiatives and progress towards achieving ESG goals.
• Establish and lead an internal sustainability governance board to properly assign ownership and responsibilities within the affiliate's management team; Regularly screen and update the internal sustainability training framework and benchmark with needs and updates according to changed risk landscapes and task profiles.

Who we’re looking for:

• A minimum of 8 years of previous experience in corporate communications or related fields.
• Bachelors’ degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or Business related field.
• Exceptional communication abilities, including writing, speaking and active listening.                                                                                                                                        
• Ability to effectively engage with team members of all levels and across departments.                                                                                                                            
• Strong written and verbal communication in Greek and English as well as interpersonal skills are imperative. Knowledge of French will be considered a plus.
• Experience in a multi-cultural and fast-moving environment. Previous experience with strictly regulated environments will be considered an asset.
• A natural ability to network and a firm belief in life-long learning. An existing network in Cyprus will be considered an asset.                                                                            
• Creativity and commercial awareness.
