We are currently seeking a Validation Engineer responsible for ensuring that all manufacturing processes — including equipment, methods, and systems — are properly qualified, validated, and maintained in a compliant state. In this role, you will review related documentation, lead quality risk assessments, and coordinate change management activities across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute required validation activities, preparing all associated documentation and ensuring execution according to approved plans.
- Ensure timely completion and reporting of all validation activities.
- Investigate deviations occurring during validation, escalate when necessary, and propose corrective and preventive actions while ensuring their timely closure.
- Organize and lead Continued Verification Assessments and re-execution of validation protocols in line with procedures. Prepare validation reports and all relevant documentation.
- Lead and coordinate the site’s change management process, ensuring that manufacturing processes, methods, and systems remain in a validated state.
- Maintain and update key performance indicators related to validation and change management.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and facilitator for Quality Risk Assessments, ensuring appropriate methodologies are applied and mitigation plans are defined and followed by responsible stakeholders.
- Provide expert support to business owners and cross-functional teams, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Contribute to capability building through effective communication and training initiatives.
- Participate in the creation and revision of procedures, work instructions, and other Quality Documents.
- Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Promote and apply all Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety rules.
- Report any situation requiring action to minimize risks to personnel, company assets, or the environment, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
We’re looking for someone with
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the tobacco, food, pharmaceutical, or similar regulated industry, or experience as a specialist in a relevant technical area.
- Materials science knowledge relevant to validation activities is an asset
- Proficiency in French and English.
- Action-oriented mindset with strong customer focus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Strong listening, organizational, and integrity-driven approach.
- Ability to manage priorities and navigate complex environments.
- Solid problem‑solving skills.
