Commercial and Logistics Process Specialist
Leader of the strategy to ensure customer satisfaction, responsible for ensuring that the logistics network of Philip Morris Mexico and Chain Distribution Centers (CEDIS) operates correctly (Route to Consumer) and that all activities are carried out in a synchronized and seamless manner.
Your day-to-day activities:
- Responsible for achieving distribution and logistics objectives, as well as sales targets (Fill Rate, Inventory, Channel Fill, Volume), through proper monitoring and constant communication between PMM Distribution and the chain’s Supply teams.
- Responsible for receiving customer purchase orders, as well as ensuring their invoicing and delivery through our logistics centers and to each of the customer’s distribution centers, including incident tracking and resolution.
- Analyze lost sales results, making the necessary adjustments to optimal inventory levels until normalization is achieved in each store, managing sales and lost sales trends and providing visibility into inventory requirements, minimizing financial impacts and ensuring category profitability.
- Monitor in-store channel fill levels (optimal inventory loading) and coverage. Track product movements (volume fluctuations) and eliminate any risk of consumer out-of-stocks. Calculate additional supply needs for specific seasonal periods by region.
- Calculate and share financial simulations related to credit limit requirements with the Credit & Collections team, as necessary for chain operations, and manage the required credit line.
- Manage, jointly with the PMM Finance team and the chain’s teams (Supply and Finance), any financial reconciliation processes that may arise from product invoicing and delivery, proactively anticipating any potential chain blocks.
- Responsible for maintaining effective communication among commercial areas (Key Accounts, Distribution, Field Sales Force, Finance) to ensure proper tracking of orders, inventories, store supply, and credit lines.
- Ensure timely deployment of special projects and achievement of KPIs for each project, as applicable.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, planning, and forecasting.
