Financial Planning Lead
Location: Mexico City
As a Financial Planning Lead, you will be a trusted contributor within the finance department, holding the deep business knowledge needed to translate business inputs into the company's financial actions!
Key Responsibilities:
- Use insights to contribute to building business scenarios.
- Support business planning and strategy development.
- Translate strategic plans into operational business and financial plans that support local market strategy and regional priorities.
- Support a coordinated business plan connecting all commercial activities, including marketing and sales.
- Drive consumer insights and market dynamics into financials and integrate them into the business plan.
- Understand and analyze the macro-economic environment.
- Act as the face to external partners and the key contact point within the organization.
Commercial Finance / Scenario Modelling:
- Partner with commercial teams to define Return of Investment of initiatives, drive/support investment decisions, and define metrics and targets.
- Provide decision-making options to improve business results based on clear commercial and other functional (e.g., fiscal) drivers.
- Build business/commercial scenarios with high-level finance impact.
- Identify trends and patterns to improve channels value based on data.
- Participate in business development activities where required.
Required Experience and Capabilities:
- At least 5 years of experience in a finance role.
- Experience in Financial Planning or Commercial Finance.
- Desirable knowledge of Power BI.
- English business proficiency (verbal and written).
- Ability to navigate in an environment of uncertainty, ambiguity, and complexity with diverse collaborators.
- Strong analytical thinking capabilities and ability to face business challenges and opportunities with customer focus.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; storytelling skills; attention to detail, self-motivated, creative, and flexible; excellent time management and social skills.
- Ability to work independently and as an excellent teammate.
