As a Sr Project Engineer, you will play a key role by providing technical leadership in complex and strategic projects within the factory, ensuring alignment with PMI standards and driving excellence in project execution, performance, and innovation.
Your ‘day to day’:
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the execution of high-complexity and strategic projects, ensuring delivery according to approved business cases, timelines, and cost targets
- Act as a technical reference and mentor for Project Engineers, sharing best practices and supporting capability development
- Ensure safe and compliant project execution, in line with sustainability, environmental, health, and safety standards
- Drive adherence to Project Management (IM) methodologies, ensuring quality, efficiency, and consistency across initiatives
- Contribute to Capex planning and budget control, ensuring financial targets and expected cash flow are achieved
- Lead feasibility studies, engineering evaluations, and planning activities to support factory objectives
- Ensure quality standards are met in product and process implementation, aligning with PMI requirements
- Promote standardization and continuous improvement, contributing to best practices and operational excellence
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery
- Support knowledge sharing, onboarding, and technical development within the team
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or equivalent)
- +5 years of experience in Engineering / technical environments, with proven experience in complex project execution
- Strong experience in Project Management (formal PM knowledge is a plus)
- Experience in mentoring or guiding peers
- Advanced English (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical skills and technical expertise
- Knowledge of tools and methodologies:
- Project Management (IM)
- MS Project / Excel
- AutoCAD
- Asset Management / Process Management (plus)
- Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
- High focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
