Position Title:  Senior Business Partner

Philip Morris International (PMI) is seeking a strategic and technically proficient Senior Business Partner to lead data and analytics initiatives across Australia and the Pacific Islands. Based in Melbourne this role bridges business teams with data expertise, transforming complex challenges into actionable insights that drive commercial strategy and support PMI’s transformation toward a smoke-free future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with senior stakeholders across commercial, marketing, and consumer teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Lead analytics initiatives and manage multiple large-scale projects using agile methodologies.
• Translate business needs into robust analytical products, collaborating with data analysts and scientists.
• Design scalable data models and create interactive dashboards using SQL, Power BI, and other BI platforms.
• Analyse market trends, operational performance, and customer behaviour to inform strategic decisions.
• Champion the adoption of analytics across the business, ensuring measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience:

• 3–5 years’ experience in data/business analysis, ideally within FMCG
• Strong stakeholder management and project leadership in cross-functional environments.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, data modeling, data warehousing, and BI tools.
• Proven ability to communicate complex insights to non-technical audiences.
• Experience delivering analytics solutions using agile methodologies and managing/briefing technical/analytical teams
• High attention to detail, integrity, and a passion for data storytelling.
