As part of this journey, we're looking for a Manager Key Accounts to drive commercial performance across some of Australia's most important retail customers.

This is a unique opportunity to combine commercial analytics, strategic account management, and customer partnership, working with leading national retailers to deliver sustainable growth across volume, revenue, share, and portfolio objectives.

The role is responsible for the end-to-end management of customer relationships, account performance, pricing execution, and commercial planning, while partnering cross-functionally to deliver impactful business outcomes.


What You'll Be Doing

Lead Key Account Growth

  • Own the end-to-end management of assigned customer accounts and their performance.
  • Develop and execute account plans aligned with channel objectives and business priorities.
  • Build strong customer relationships and become a trusted commercial partner.
  • Support the execution of portfolio strategies and customer activation plans.
  • Deliver sustainable growth across revenue, volume, and market share.

Drive Commercial Performance

  • Manage key commercial negotiations including trading terms, margin structures and pricing initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve account profitability and business performance.
  • Analyse category, customer, and market trends to inform commercial decisions.
  • Contribute to pricing and forecasting processes that support business targets.

Turn Data Into Action

  • Use data and insights to identify opportunities, risks, and performance drivers.
  • Provide recommendations that influence customer and internal decision-making.
  • Develop account reviews and performance updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leverage advanced Excel skills and analytical tools to support planning, forecasting, and business reviews.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics to uncover growth opportunities.

Build Strong Partnerships

  • Develop relationships with customer buying, category, and commercial teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Pricing, Finance, Portfolio, Deployment, Legal, and External Affairs teams.
  • Align multiple stakeholders around common objectives and commercial priorities.
  • Lead regular business reviews and planning discussions with customers.

We're Looking For

  • Experience working within a national retailer category buying team will be highly regarded, with prior experience as a Buyer considered a significant advantage.
  • 2-5 years' experience in Retail, FMCG, category management, commercial, sales, insights, or account management roles.
  • Proven ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable recommendations leveraging advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach, combined with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • The ability to balance analytical thinking with customer relationship management.
