As a Regional Key Account Executive (RKAE), you will be responsible for managing PMFTC’s business within a defined set of local accounts in your assigned region. Your role is pivotal in driving volume and growth, ensuring contract and pricing compliance, and building strategic partnerships that give PMFTC a competitive edge.
Accountabilities: Your day to day tasks are the following:
Account & Territory Management
- Achieve business goals across assigned regional accounts including volume, OCI, share growth, contract strategy, pricing, and inventory management.
- Identify and capitalize on account-specific opportunities relevant to your territory.
In-Store Execution
- Implement account-specific strategies aligned with company cycle plans.
- Ensure visibility, program execution, and product launches are effectively carried out.
- Provide regular progress reports and business impact assessments.
Contract Strategy Development
- Contribute to the creation and negotiation of merchandising contracts.
- Support the development of negotiation strategies to secure optimal in-store presence.
Administrative Coordination
- Manage account servicing, order processing, and delivery coordination.
- Liaise with internal teams (Marketing, Legal, KA Admin) and third-party agencies for activations and merchandising.
Account Engagement & Store Visits
- Conduct regular business reviews and engage key decision-makers.
- Perform store visits and trade checks based on a pre-agreed route plan.
Budget Management
- Monitor and manage allocated budgets (OB & RF), ensuring alignment with KA strategies.
- Flag and justify any spending variances to your immediate superior.
Collaboration with National KA Team
- Consolidate store check feedback from Business Building teams and report findings.
- Ensure contract compliance and execution of cycle plans.
Corporate Compliance
- Uphold company policies and legal standards.
- Promote safety and maintain company assets in good condition.
Skill and competencies:
- With driver’s license for at least a year and can drive manual transmission
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Experience in Key Account Management or Sales in FMCG or retail industry
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
- Willingness to travel within assigned region
Work Location: Mandaue Sales Office – should be amenable to be assigned to do field work in areas covered by the assigned sales office
Work Schedule: Mondays to Saturdays, no fixed schedule and can start as early as 6:30 AM
