The Senior Data Analyst (Data Governance Lead) is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-wide data governance policies together with the Data Governance Senior Manager. This role provides direction over data governance frameworks, policies, standards and processes to ensure trusted, reliable and secure data for the organization. You will work closely with Data Analysts, Product Managers, Data Engineering, Business teams, and external vendors to understand data needs and workflows, improve data stewardship practices, and increase the value and adoption of our datasets across the enterprise.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

· You have a degree in Computer Science, Information Management or a related field.

· 3 + years of experience in enterprise data governance or related role.

· Ability to collaborate with business, analytics, and IT partners to solve problems and orchestrate data governance efforts.

· Certification in data governance or data management (e.g., DAMA, CDMP).

· Experience with data management tools.

· Familiarity on data governance of analytics platforms with a strong focus on Power BI datasets, semantic models, and shared data assets, AI, and machine learning use cases

· Solid project management skills

· Strong understanding of data governance principles (DAMA-DMBOK, ISO/IEC 38500, NIST AI RMF, NIST RDaaF, etc.).

· Hands-on experience in implementing solutions, rules, and processes to improve data quality.

· Proficiency in data management tools and technologies such as Atlan and LeanIX.

· Experience with data quality management and data auditing.

· Experience with data visualization tools to monitor and report on data governance metrics.

· Good communication and partner management skills.

· Ability to lead and manage data governance projects.

· Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.

· Analytical and problem-solving skills.

HOW CAN YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US?

· Definition, implementation, and maintenance of data governance frameworks, policies, and standards including Power BI dataset ownership, certification, endorsement

· Data ownership, stewardship, and accountability model design and operationalization

· Data quality management (rules, controls, monitoring, issue remediation tracking)

· Metadata management, data cataloguing, and business glossary enablement

· Data lifecycle management, including data classification, retention, and archival rules

· Support for regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements related to data usage and protection

· Governance of analytics platforms with a strong focus on Power BI datasets, semantic models, and shared data assets, AI, and machine learning use cases

· Stakeholder engagement across IT, business, legal, risk, and compliance teams

· Creation and maintenance of governance documentation, SOPs, and operating models

· BAU governance operations and continuous improvement initiatives
