Join Our Team as a Financial Controlling Specialist!
You will monitor actual costs versus budget, prepare budget and forecast calculations for defined accounts, and provide standard, ad hoc, and scenario-based analysis for costs, balance sheet, and net working capital.
What Your Day Looks Like:
Design & Continuous Improvement
- Identify gaps in assigned business processes and propose continuous improvement measures.
- Collaborate with the Manager to understand root causes and represent process procedures, practicalities, and exceptions.
Execution
- Collect assumptions on overheads and business expenses, consolidate budgets, and provide input to the PBF&R tool for OB and RFs.
- Review and validate period-end accruals for PO and non-PO expenses based on defined criteria; post manual accruals for commercial investments.
- Collect assumptions on Balance Sheet forecasts, capture business dynamics, and provide B/S and Cash Flow input to the system.
- Provide standard, ad hoc, and scenario-based analysis on B/S, Net Working Capital, and costs, including multidimensional views (Consumer Journey, ZBS, PBO).
- Prepare analysis supporting resource allocation and investment planning aimed at cost optimization and SFP growth.
- Escalate material deviations and propose corrective actions to the Manager Finance Controlling.
- Support the markets/region during budget cycles (LRP/OB/RF/LE) in collaboration with the Records to Record organization to ensure Legal Entity financials preparation.
- Assist the Manager Finance Controlling in controlling tasks, e.g., SOX.
- Prepare analysis and support for internal and external audit requirements, liaising with auditors and colleagues as needed.
Business Support & Collaboration
- Cooperate effectively with COE Reporting for extensive analysis and ad hoc requests to support market demand on financial performance.
- Liaise with other IBS process delivery groups to ensure high-quality customer service and continuous service improvement.
- Support the Manager Finance Controlling as the SPOC for markets within a region.
Who We're Looking For:
- A professional with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in Finance, with an understanding of corporate finance, particularly balance sheets and other financial statements’ analysis and controls.
- Background in Financial Planning (budgeting and forecasting), Finance Fundamentals, and Accounting is essential.
- A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) is required; being a CPA is a definite advantage.
- Agile and innovative problem solver.
Work Schedule and Location
- Generally Mondays to Fridays. 8:30AM – 5:30PM, on a hybrid work arrangement, minimum 3 days on-site
- Based in BGC, Taguig and/or 8 Rockwell, Makati Head Offices of PMI Philippines
