Who we are looking for

 

  • You have graduated in (Business) Informatics, IT, computer science or a related field.
  • 3 + years of proven experience working with modern data engineering tech stack such as Snowflake (cloud data warehouse), Matillion (ELT/ETL), AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins or GIT.
  • Highly proficient in SQL and an additional programming language such as PowerShell or Python.
  • Solid experience on technical and functional designs for Databases, Data Warehousing, Reporting, and Data Mining areas.
  • Deep understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data ingestion, and data transformation frameworks
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques, including dimensional modeling and schema design, to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
  • Ideal candidates are AI-Ready: Strong understanding of LLMs with proven experience applying them to enhance workflows and outcomes
  • Innovative Application: Skilled in leveraging LLMs for data-driven solutions, automation, or advanced analytics

 

You will bring

 

  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including Agile delivery, coding standards, code reviews, source control, automated testing, CI/CD, and operational excellence.

  • Proven experience building and enabling Machine Learning and Advanced Analytics solutions through scalable data ingestion, transformation, metadata management, and feature engineering frameworks. Experience developing, training, deploying, and monitoring machine learning models that solve real business challenges.

  • Demonstrated ability to design and automate reliable data pipelines and operational processes that deliver high-quality, timely, and trusted data while meeting defined service levels and business expectations.

  • Solid understanding of modern data platforms, cloud-based data infrastructure, and data services, including data storage, processing, orchestration, and governance concepts.

  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable data solutions, clearly communicating data architecture, modeling decisions, engineering approaches, and technical trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.

  • Experience collaborating effectively with geographically distributed teams, building strong partnerships across engineering, analytics, product, and business functions in a global environment.

  • Design, build, test, and deploy scalable data pipelines that enable efficient data ingestion, transformation, and delivery across enterprise data platforms.
  • Champion data quality by implementing robust controls and monitoring mechanisms that ensure the completeness, accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data assets.
  • Drive the optimization, performance, and scalability of data warehouses and data platforms, applying industry best practices to support growing business and analytics needs.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate processes, streamline workflows, and continuously improve data engineering capabilities and operational efficiency.
  • Leverage strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges, improve data quality, and deliver innovative solutions that create business value.
  • Take a proactive approach to data operations by anticipating potential issues, mitigating risks, and ensuring the stability, availability, and integrity of critical data products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, analytics teams, and business partners to deliver trusted, high-quality data solutions that support data-driven decision making.

 

Work Schedule and Location

 

  • Generally, Mondays to Fridays, on a hybrid work arrangement
  • Based in 8 Rockwell, Makati Head Office
