We are seeking a detail-oriented and candidate-focused Pre-Employment Screening (PES) Specialist to support the candidate journey prior to joining PMI. This role works closely with market Talent Acquisition teams and external vendors to ensure a smooth and compliant pre-boarding experience through effective background check coordination and analysis.
What Your Day Looks Like
- Candidate Support & Coordination:
- Serve as a point of contact for candidates during the background verification phase.
- Share background check results conducted by external vendors with relevant stakeholders.
- Follow up with candidates to ensure timely and complete submission of background check requirements.
2. Background Check Analysis:
- Review and analyze vendor-provided background check results.
- Provide internal PES recommendations based on PMI’s policies and standards.
- Escalate discrepancies or concerns to appropriate stakeholders.
3. Quality Assurance & Auditing:
- Conduct regular audits to ensure consistency and accuracy of vendor background check reports.
- Identify trends or issues and recommend process improvements.
4. Data Management & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in recruitment systems and tools.
- Track candidate progress and generate reports to support HR and market teams.
- Provide data-driven insights to inform onboarding decisions.
5. Service Excellence:
- Consistently meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure a positive candidate experience aligned with PMI’s values and standards.
Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in recruitment operations, background screening, or HR compliance preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR systems, preferably in SuccessFactors
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
