Join PMI as a Candidate Lifecycle Experience Specialist – Shape a Smoke-Free Future!

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and candidate-focused Pre-Employment Screening (PES) Specialist to support the candidate journey prior to joining PMI. This role works closely with market Talent Acquisition teams and external vendors to ensure a smooth and compliant pre-boarding experience through effective background check coordination and analysis.

 

 

What Your Day Looks Like

 

  1. Candidate Support & Coordination:

Serve as a point of contact for candidates during the background verification phase.

Share background check results conducted by external vendors with relevant stakeholders.

Follow up with candidates to ensure timely and complete submission of background check requirements.

 

  1. Background Check Analysis:

Review and analyze vendor-provided background check results.

Provide internal PES recommendations based on PMI’s policies and standards.

Escalate discrepancies or concerns to appropriate stakeholders.

 

  1. Quality Assurance & Auditing:

Conduct regular audits to ensure consistency and accuracy of vendor background check reports.

Identify trends or issues and recommend process improvements.

 

  1. Data Management & Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in recruitment systems and tools.

Track candidate progress and generate reports to support HR and market teams.

Provide data-driven insights to inform onboarding decisions.

 

  1. Service Excellence:

Consistently meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs).

Ensure a positive candidate experience aligned with PMI’s values and standards.

 

 

Who We're Looking For

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in recruitment operations, background screening, or HR compliance preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR systems, preferably in SuccessFactors
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
