Introducing smoke-free products shifts the focus of our entire business. We’re fast moving from a B2B to a B2C model – and our newly created Customer Centric Organization (CCO) team is driving that commercial transformation. Their role is to understand customer conversion journeys in different international markets, then to find the best ways to connect with smokers and convince them to switch to reduced-risk products.
Description:
Encompass job responsible for designing, planning, deploying and implement the strategy for multicategory visibility at Indirect retail channel, as well as Trade engagement strategy, to support business goals and the strategic initiatives for current and future portfolios. Job focus on creating and developing value-added Permanent Point of sell material (PPOSM) & Trade engagement tools propositions for customers with the objective of promoting company's products.
Key Responsibilities:
INDIRECT RETAIL SEGMENTATION AND GUIDELINES: Support the manager on defining the strategy to properly set multicategory visibility approach at each segment across Indirect channel. This strategy should be able to encompass current and future portfolio.
PERMANENT VISIBILITY @INDIRECT RETAIL (IR) SHOPS: Conceptualize, construct and implement all permanent intervention @ IR level, from shelfs to entire POS staging or even refurnishing by catching local opportunities and providing customized solution if needed. Guarantee the right level of digitalization to be able to renew the communication message timely.
MULTICATEGORY COMMUNICATION AT @IR SHOPS/STAKEHOLDERS: Lead multicategory communication strategy at Indirect retail POS by 1) maximizing impact of the different categories & space at POS, acting also as the guardian of the TPOSM communication developed by categories, guaranteeing its coherence & consistency with the total POS communication strategy and 2) developing engaging tools to get fully support & engagement of all our retailers
KEY STAKEHOLDERS’ MANAGEMENT: Liaises with buying, merchandising, commercial planning, categories and other internal functions to ensure appropriate interpretation & deployment of strategies.
1) lead relationship with all PPOSM suppliers (digital, maintenance, furniture), and trade engagement agencies to guarantee best offers & services being compliance with PMI quality standards. 2) guarantee the best coordination among categories to successfully deploy communication @ POS with excellency & on time, by having an active role in the cross functional Visibility team & active participation on multicategory commercial calendar deployment thru trade engagement activities
3) coordinate with region, global & HUB to be compliance with PMI guidelines 4) Categories, planning, regional managers & field sales force team to coordinate the best implementation.
TRACKING: actively participate, together with commercial analytics, on performing enhanced analysis to track visibility implementation & its quality, develop improvements, and potentially lead small projects or phases of larger projects to implement improvements. This active role will be also required in the Visibility committees, taking place with Sales force teams, to get relevant input from field to maximize visibility materials planification/definition.
BUDGET AND PLANNING: Support the Manager for the budget planning process, collecting the inputs, working closely with Purchasing department on gathering reliable cost estimates for all projects and share best practice with other dept. in order to potentially reach economic scale. Ensure correct tracking of actual spendings vs budget throughout the year, while taking the initiative for corrective adjustments.
Required Skills:
• University Degree in Economics, Marketing, Sales.
• Master of Business Administration might be a plus.
• Specific Experience: min 10 years’ experience in Trade Marketing departments, field sales commercial experience is a plus. Solid experience in the commercial area, Trade marketing department or Visual Merchandising of FMCG Companies.
• Vast experience leading high performing teams.
• Customer Focus, well organized, proactive, problem-solving approach.
• Able to liaise with uncertainty & tight timings, prioritizing capacity & good soft skills to manage different stakeholders.
• Spanish native & proficiency English speaker.
