Their role is to understand customer conversion journeys in different international markets, then to find the best ways to connect with smokers and convince them to switch to reduced-risk products.

 

Job Description: Manager Location Planning & Analysis 

 

Purpose of the role: Manager Location Planning & Analysis supports the design, analysis, and execution of global location strategies by delivering data-driven insights, supporting strategic workforce placement decisions, and maintaining analytical tools and frameworks. This role focuses on analytics, modeling, and reporting to enable the Senior Manager to focus on strategic alignment, stakeholder engagement, and governance execution

 

 

 

Individual Accountabilities

 

  • Develop location strategy scenarios and support the integration of agreed location strategy parameters in the Long-Range Planning process.
  • Support the development of location recommendations through scenario modeling and comparative analysis.
  • Conduct location analyses to support and influence key operational and strategic decisions through independent and data driven insights.
  • Own and maintain Power BI dashboards and other automated tools for tracking business and role requests.
  • Track performance metrics and support KPI reporting for the location governance and planning function.
  • Maintain structured datasets and assist in cleansing, normalizing, and managing workforce and location data

 

 

 

Individual Responsibilities

 

  • Enhance location validation processes, including recurring reviews of location performance through balanced scorecard measurements for existing and potential new locations.
  • Create forward-looking location footprint evolution processes, developing location footprint scenarios considering future business requirements, real estate capacity, external factors, and change impact for integration in the Long-Range Planning process.
  • Collaborate with P&C, Tax, Global Mobility, and Finance teams to gather input for data modeling.
  • Engage with Global functions, Categories, Regions and (GBS) Hubs to influence, drive change and continuous improvement by aligning strategies and co-creating location optimization strategies.

 


 

Critical Experience and Capabilities

 

  • Solid consulting background (minimum 7 years), ideally experienced in location management, analysis and strategy development.
  • Strong data-driven and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
  • High learning agility and strategic thinking.
  • Strong (constructive) challenging and storytelling abilities.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at different seniority levels.
  • Creativity in developing workable solutions.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and complexity.
  • Develop trust, retain discipline, and reliability.
  • Excellent collaboration skills - engage in proactive collaboration with goodwill.
  • Experience leveraging AI solutions.
