Our role in Market IT is to enable business results by activating global technology capabilities and focusing on consumers and commercial success. Therefore, leading and develop an adaptable and agile IT organization to deliver is the main challenge that this position has. Also, enables all business needs in an optimum and secure way by leveraging PMI information services.
As an IT Manager at PMI, you will
- Maintain active contact and communication with key business stakeholders and provide advice and consulting to management on business matters having IT implications, to achieve competitive advantage and facilitate business transformation. Act as “Face of IT” including escalation point, feedback, locally managed solutions/Services, and centrally managed solutions/services.
- Promote and share the global portfolio and offer a differentiated consumer experience. More specifically, maintain and/or promote understanding of Global IT offerings and roadmap to provide IT services to cover local business needs. Work with central IT groups to deploy a portfolio of existent solutions, proposing ideas for improving them. Engage with Global Teams to ensure valid local needs are taken into consideration in the evolution of the solutions (Account Manager for Global solutions - Account managers serve as the interface between the market needs and the solution owners).
- Execute the IT Plan by supporting the deployment, facilitating the localization of global/core business system solutions as well as the development and maintenance of local/regional IT solutions (Identify opportunities that create value for the business and run experiments bringing new technologies and solutions that are not covered by the current global solution portfolio) to meet local affiliate business needs following the global PMI standards and procedures.
- Ensure IT expenditures, including capital expenditures are properly documented, budgeted, and approved in line with local and PMI requirements, and regularly carry out budget controls and cost projections during the year to ensure availability of funds & avoid budget overspending.
- Lead and coach local IT teams to build an adaptable, flexible and agile IT organization that attracts, develops, and retains the best talent to deliver IT services required by PMI, currently and in the future. (including central IT resources based locally).
- Act as the 1st Line of Defense for all local systems - fully own and manage the cyber risk associated with their deployment and evolution. Ensure that the basic security hygiene of our systems is maintained at an acceptable level by addressing the identified risks promptly. Ensure that each new cyber security requirement is deployed with speed and precision to keep the company safe in an environment of very dynamic cyber security threats.
- Act as a data champion in the market, using our data literacy to deploy analytics & data capabilities that drive our business forward. Work collaboratively in a hub and spoke model, allowing market flexibility to achieve faster decisions and personalized consumer experiences. Leverage the EAD strategy, guidelines, and roadmaps to deliver best-in-class data and analytics solutions.
Apply if you have
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or with appropriate experience.
- Experience in a large multinational company including management experience (in IT or other areas) and IT applications and/or technology environment experience (> 10 years).
- IT experience in global organizations.
- Understanding of key IT delivery processes.
- Experience in multinational Co., including people management experience.
- PMP Certified (3 Years of Certification) / SCRUM / ITIL / AWS is a plus.

- Strong leadership and people management experience working with a diverse team in a multinational environment.
- Advanced stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Broad experience in successfully managing complex projects over extended periods.
- Ability to independently plan, monitor and manage IT budgets in an effective and efficient manner driving cost transparency.
- Proven ability to influence across the organization, effectively leading change, originating ideas, and championing and gaining commitment.
- Strong experience in working with PMP, Lean Startup, Agile, and SCRUM methodologies and teams.
- A plus, experience in omnichannel customer experiences and B2B or data organization.
