PURPOSE OF THE JOB

As a Senior HR Operations Specialist (P&ED Senior Specialist), inside of a cooperative team, you will provide support to business, employees and P&C Team ensuring efficient, precise, timely and cost-effective services, providing support in implementing employment-related processes to ensure alignment with PMI Guidelines and Local Legislation. Act as an advisor for all P&C services and deliver exceptional employee experience by putting employee experience at the center of what we do.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Payroll
  • Provide advisory support and resolution for complex payroll-related issues, ensuring compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
  • Manage local payroll change requests (CRs) and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Close collaboration with key stakeholders involved in issuing/executing the Spanish payroll to ensure timely and accurate cycles based on the payroll calendar defined.
  • Vendor management: establish and manage relationships with service providers, ensuring service level agreement is met, and scalations and handled promptly.

  • Administration of benefits and vendor management (pension plan, health insurance, flexible retribution platform, meal allowances…)

 

  •  Personnel administration
  • Provide support to employees and People Managers on employment-related processes, including voluntary terminations, dismissals, employment contracts, working time reductions, and leaves of absence.
  • Manage hiring administration processes (Social Security communication with the provider, contracts templates, etc.).
  • Manage garnishment processes and related documentation.
  • Administer the time control system and coordinate with external vendors to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Labor advisory to P&C Business Partner or Business Managers.

 

  • Other HR processes
  • Participation in relevant and impactful HR projects (local and global)
  • Develop and deliver reports and analytics related to payroll information or key HR metrics (turnover, employee costs, absenteeism, remuneration data…), providing insights to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Support to other team processes like mobility (national and international)

 

In the day to day, you will collaborate with the local and global HR teams as well as with key providers (for taxes, payroll, benefits management, etc.).

 

 

YOU WILL HAVE

    • EU Work permit
    • Academic background: University degree in labor relations, law, or another relevant field for the role.
    • Professional experience, +5 years of which:
      • Knowledge and exposure to Spain´s payroll. Regulations and reporting requirements.
      • Experience with HR systems: SAP or Success Factors
      • Experience and knowledge of current labor law in Spain and HR administration processes
      • Professional experience in international company and professional service/consultancy firm supporting the payroll, taxes and HR processes indicated will be desirable.
    • Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English (C1 at least).
    • Software: Great Microsoft Office, especially in Excel to maintain and create different HR reports.

  • Strong analytical skills: ability to gather, analyze and summarize data to evaluate tendencies or to extract key metrics.
  • Stakeholder management: ability to build strong rapport with stakeholders.
  • Strong balance between speed of execution and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with a result approach, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR Operations processes.
  • Other: excellent communications skills, organizational and time management skills, ability to work on own initiatives and as part of the team and proactivity.
