YOUR DAY TO DAY

We are looking for someone to join the Technical SEO (Search Engine Optimization)  team with a strong focus on advancing the technical AI Optimisation (AIO) capability across SFP (Smoke-free products) brand websites, while continuing to support and enhance core technical SEO foundations. The role ensures AI-powered search and answer engines can reliably crawl, interpret, retrieve, and surface content without friction. Namely:

• Technical AIO governance, including SFP websites & platforms technical requirements.
• Validation of requests for new platform enhancements that impact tech SEO/AIO performance.
• Proof of concept for technical AIO initiatives and global deployment planning.
• Integration of latest technical AI search capabilities into PMI's tech stack.
• Technical AIO KPIs, performance dashboards & reports creation.
• Technical AIO training to members of SEO team and cross-functional partners such as IT, CX/Web, UX, Digital Activation and markets digital marketing teams.
• Escalation point for technical AIO performance issues.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 5 years technical SEO experience working at an enterprise organization or agency.
• Expert on search engine and AI search systems accessibility, search engines algorithms, LLMs, information architecture, site speed and UX.
• Proven track record to successfully run multiple projects in a matrix organization.
• Scripting skills including JavaScript and Python for troubleshooting, automation and connecting to APIs
• Experienced with technical SEO & AIO troubleshooting, technical audits and documentation of technical SEO/AIO requirements
• Fluent written and spoken English (additional languages a plus)
• University degree in IT-related disciplines or related field

Key Competences and Skills

• Ability to work in a team environment across functions that promotes collaboration.
• Experience of SEO/AIO performance, server log analysis, and analytics tools i.e. Google analytics, Google search console, Screaming Frog, Lumar, OnCrawl, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Pi Datametrics, Profound.
• Ability to communicate complex AIO concepts to senior stakeholders who may not have a digital marketing background.
• Strong project management, organization, documentation and data governance skills.
• Good understanding of the commercial impact of SEO/AIO.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Critical thinking and ability to challenge others supported by data.
• Great presentation and soft skills.
