Purpose of the Role
The Project Delivery Lead (PDL) is a strategic orchestrator across the full creative development lifecycle. Acting as the single source of truth between Brand, Studio, other Global Stakeholders, and Agencies, the PDL ensures that global assets and supporting deliverables are produced on time, in full, and with quality (OTIFQ).
This role blends Project Management, Traffic Management, and Account Leadership—driving clarity, optimizing workflows, stewarding the integrated calendar and SLAs, and elevating creative outputs across the PMI ecosystem.
The PDL ensures cross‑functional alignment, champions best‑in‑class ways of working, and provides upstream visibility that enables smarter, faster decision‑making. The role actively protects capacity, reduces risk, accelerates delivery, and strengthens collaboration to support the growth and equity of StudioOne.
For this position, you will support the Oral Smokeless team—part of the industry’s fastest‑growing category and the largest in‑house team—responsible for delivering over 70% of all initiatives internally.
Key Responsibilities:
End‑to‑End Creative Orchestration
- Lead the full creative development of toolboxes and initiatives through to DAM ingestion, ensuring quality, timing, and budget adherence.
- Evaluate and triage incoming briefs, ensuring clarity, accurate scoping, and strategic alignment before kickoff.
- Drive cross‑functional milestone management, including timelines, risks, actions, and escalation paths.
- Provide transparency on dependencies, constraints, and impacts across Studio resources and agency partners.
- Maintain consistent alignment between Brand, Creative, Production, Strategy, and external stakeholders.
Traffic & Resource Management
- Own and manage capacity planning for Studio resources, identifying risks and advising on optimal resourcing solutions.
- Lead the Workfront planning process and ensure accurate bookings, visibility, and compliance.
- Ensure the right level of expertise is applied per project (internal, external, or freelancers).
- Oversee and activate the freelancer model to improve agility and reduce onboarding time.
Workfront Stewardship & Harmonization
- Champion Workfront adoption, accuracy, and best practices across all teams.
- Consolidate Workfront insights for leadership reporting, resource visibility, SLA performance, and strategic decision‑making.
- Support onboarding, training, troubleshooting, and backlog management with OCX and IT.
- Contribute to Workfront development initiatives to ensure an integrated, efficient end‑to‑end process.
Integrated Calendar, SLAs & Governance
- Own the SFP Integrated Creative Calendar from an IBB standpoint, ensuring visibility, sequencing, and feasibility of resources.
- Consolidate, monitor, and visualize SLAs, ensuring compliance and proactive risk management.
- Lead governance rituals including priority reviews, KPI reporting, upstream assessments, and alignment forums.
- Provide data‑driven clarity on initiative velocity, risks, and dependencies.
Stakeholder Management & Strategic Partnership
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Brand Teams, ensuring partnership, clarity, and seamless orchestration.
- Offer neutral, strategic support to agencies, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and aligned expectations.
- Build trust across cross‑functional stakeholders, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Deepen category understanding to better support creative and business priorities.
Agency & Supplier Management
- Partner with Procurement on MSAs, rate cards, scopes, and new supplier onboarding.
- Support cost avoidance by identifying efficiencies, optimizing scope, and leveraging rate cards.
- Monitor agency performance, lead QBR inputs, gather 360° feedback, and drive quality improvements.
- Promote best‑in‑class creative and operational practices across agencies and Studio ecosystems.
Reporting, Insights & Continuous Improvement
- Produce weekly/monthly reports including traffic updates, capacity maps, dashboards, and KPI tracking.
- Use data to influence upstream decisions and highlight resourcing or scheduling risks.
- Conduct post‑mortem reviews to extract learnings and embed improvements into workflows.
- Foster a culture of efficiency, simplification, innovation, and “doing less but better.”
Background & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Project Management, Creative Operations, Traffic Management, Account Management, Event Management, or similar roles.
- Demonstrated experience working across creative, strategy, and production teams, acting as a cross‑functional connector.
- Hands‑on experience with project management platforms—ideally Workfront (or comparable systems such as Asana, Monday.com, Wrike, JIRA).
- Experience in resource planning, capacity mapping, team utilization, and workflow optimization.
- Experience partnering with external creative agencies and procurement teams.
- Comfortable influencing and managing senior stakeholders in a complex, matrixed environment.
- Prince2 certification is a plus.
