Position Title: Director Channel Management

Role Summary
This role is responsible for leading the overall global channel delivery of the Content & Owned Media Group. It oversees all external-facing corporate communication channels (pmi.com, market sites, pmiscience.com, social channels) and ensures a robust channel strategy aligned with PMI’s corporate and scientific narratives. The role also governs global policies and serves as a key source of insight for content and channel performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise all content for global channels, ensuring alignment with corporate and scientific narratives.
• Develop and oversee governance and policy setting for all corporate communications channels globally.
• Collaborate with Stakeholder Management to evaluate and sign off briefs with strategic rigor.
• Steer development processes ensuring projects are delivered on time, scope and within budget.
• Oversee prioritization and resource allocation across global channel operations.
• Ensure effective global implementation, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Coach, mentor, and develop reports to build a high‑performing team.
Experience & capabilities
• Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Digital Media, or related fields.
• At least 5 years' experience leading a channel delivery group with accountability for strategy, quality, budget, and timelines.
• Experience developing and executing channel strategies across web, social, and paid media.
• Strong technical understanding of channel production techniques and digital tools (including AI).
• Experience managing budgets within media/channel delivery contexts.
• Demonstrated success leading multi‑stakeholder, multinational projects.
• Comfort presenting to senior leaders including C‑Suite.
• Strong collaboration, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Analytical mindset with experience monitoring and optimizing channel performance.
