For our Data & Analytics team, we are currently looking for a Data Governance & Management Lead in Hammersmith, London.

In this position you will be responsible for deploying and maintaining robust data governance processes. This role ensures data integrity, quality, and accessibility across the organization, while implementing global standards and managing data confidentiality and access controls.

 

More specifically, you will:

 

  • Implement data governance policies, processes and standards.
  • Collaborate with data owners and partners to ensure data quality and compliance, and confidentiality.
  • Lead local data governance initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and company policies.
  • Monitor and enforce data governance policies and procedures. Conduct data quality assessments and audits to ensure reliable and high-quality data in the market.
  • Identify, solve, and implement solutions to improve data reliability and quality. Use technologies such as Snowflake, Atlan, LeanIX, to manage and govern data.
  • Work with Data Engineers and Data Scientists and other business and IT partners to integrate data governance policies into data pipelines and models.
  • Report on data governance metrics and KPIs to senior management.
  • Provide training and support to staff on data governance best practices.

 

We’re looking for someone with:

 

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data management or similar role.
  • Ability to collaborate with business, analytics, and IT partners to solve problems and orchestrate data governance efforts.
  • Certification in data governance or data management (e.g., DAMA, CDMP).
  • Experience with data management tools.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and AI applications in data governance.
  • Solid project management skills
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles (DAMA-DMBOK, ISO/IEC 38500, NIST AI RMF, NIST RDaaF, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience in implementing solutions, rules, and processes to improve data quality.
  • Proficiency in data management tools and technologies such as Atlan and LeanIX.
  • Experience with data quality management and data auditing.
  • Experience with data visualization tools to monitor and report on data governance metrics.
  • Good communication and partner management skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage data governance projects.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
