About the Internship

The Combustibles Category Strategy, Pricing & Planning team supports PMI's global business by driving strategic priorities, commercial performance, growth opportunities, and data-driven decision making.

As an intern, you'll contribute to projects across strategy, pricing, analytics, forecasting, business performance management, AI applications, and process improvement while gaining exposure to senior leadership and global stakeholders.

Who We're Looking For

  • Available for a full-time 6-month internship starting in February 2027.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or MBA degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working with data and translating insights into recommendations.
  • Curious about strategy, pricing, commercial performance, market dynamics, and AI applications.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced international environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills required; experience with Power BI, Python, AI tools, or data visualization is a plus.
  • Fluent in English.

What You'll Do

  • Support strategic planning, market assessments, and competitive intelligence activities.
  • Perform pricing, commercial, and financial analyses to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Assist with forecasting, business performance tracking, and scenario modeling.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to support decision making.
  • Explore AI and automation opportunities to improve business processes and efficiency.
  • Support process improvements, standard reporting, and workflow optimization.
  • Prepare insights and recommendations for management presentations.
  • Contribute to the development of analytical methodologies and business intelligence capabilities.

This role provides valuable exposure to both strategic and operational aspects of a global consumer goods business while strengthening your analytical, technical, and business skills.
