About the team

If you join our team, Corporate Strategy, part of the Global Growth organization, you will be responsible for delivering projects that accelerate our smoke-free future. These projects could include exploring potential new ventures for investment, building new capabilities for the organization, defining how we can improve the commercial engine of our business, and looking at how we can launch new products across markets. You will be collaborating with and closely guided by our team of critical thinkers from multiple nationalities with backgrounds in top-tier consulting firms, FMCG, and other leading industries.

Who we’re looking for

We are seeking ambitious individuals who are:

• Available for 6 months internship as of May 2026
• Currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Management, Business Analytics, Economics, or similar
• Strong interest or experience in areas of strategy, management consulting, venture building, finance, or similar industries
• Fluent in English • Eager to be independent in driving workstreams of strategic projects
• Excellent in communication with ability to structure ideas and collaborate effectively
• Strong in Microsoft PowerPoint for top management presentations and Microsoft Excel for data analytics; additional technical analytics skills (e.g., Python, SQL) are a plus but not required
• Knowledgeable in leveraging AI (e.g., generative AI, agentic AI)

Roles & Objectives

As an intern, joining the Corporate Strategy team, you will:

• Structure and drive analytics for workstreams in the context of larger projects that accelerate our smoke-free future, incl. long-term strategy definition, commercial acceleration, competitive intelligence, and new ventures
• Solve problems that are both interesting and challenging
• Conduct market research to identify industry opportunities and risks
• Synthesize insights and build presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Help in building organizational capabilities for the team and broader PMI to operate better
• Assist in strategy-to-execution by helping in stakeholder management (with the organization’s categories, regions, and markets)
• Be closely mentored by the team for you to fully fulfill your role and maximize your learnings in the organization
