Introducing smoke-free products shifts the focus of our entire business. We’re fast moving from a B2B to a B2C model – and our newly created Customer Centric Organization (CCO) team is driving that commercial transformation. Their role is to understand customer conversion journeys in different international markets, then to find the best ways to connect with smokers and convince them to switch to reduced-risk products.

As the Manager of Strategy & Program Delivery, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of the affiliate by coordinating strategy planning, development, and delivery across various functions. Your insights and efforts will translate into a set of cross-functional initiatives, enabling the successful execution of the affiliate's strategy.

 

Your ‘day to day’

 

STRATEGY FORMULATION:

  • Support the development of the market strategy and coordinate key strategic planning processes, including global and regional cycles.
  • Ensure alignment across functions to define and prioritize key critical initiatives.
  • Prepare business updates and strategy reviews for presentation to Management Team and Regional partners.
  • Improve competitive intelligence insights to drive strategic shifts.

HIGH IMPACT STRATEGIC STUDIES:

  • Lead projects addressing critical business challenges and opportunities that have clear partners and require deep problem-solving with timelines and dedicated resources.
  • Advocate for adequate funding and sponsorship for the selected projects' outcomes.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & INCUBATION:

  • Identify strategic study topics for Business Development (BD) and Incubation purposes.
  • Support the initial design of business models and collaborate with sponsors
  • Find opportunities for new categories or products, as needed.

STRATEGY INTO EXECUTION:

  • Contribute to the formulation of a portfolio of programs and projects aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Implement a Key Performance Indicator framework based on OGSM (Objectives, Goals, Strategies, and Measures) principles, ensuring that each project has clear critical metrics linked to the overall strategy and OGSMs.
  • Analyze the full program/project portfolio strategically to prioritize impactful initiatives that align with strategic priorities and OGSMs.
  • Conduct detailed and consistent Return on Investment assessments for effective prioritization of initiatives.
  • Drive the implementation of OGSMs across the organization, supporting Managing Director (MD) and Heads of Functions (HoFs) in crafting and supervising progress toward OGSMs.

 

Who we’re looking for

 

  • University degree – Master of Business degree in Financial Management / Economics / Business Administration / Mathematics (MBA would be an advantage).
  • +10 years of experience in Multinational companies
  • Outstanding critical thinking, problem solving and analytical capability.
  • Experience in strategic consultancy.
  • Exposure to other Finance fields and Commercial departments is a plus.
  • Highly collaborative and agile, adept at leading internal and external key partners able to inspire change in the organization.
  • Ambitious, ownership and roll-up-your-sleeves mindset to get things done.
  • Capacity to organize and prioritize work to meet changing requirements.
  • Confidence in working with, and courage to challenge, senior management.
  • Native Spanish and fluency in English, very good written and verbal communications skills.
