Position Title:  Project Manager - AI Champion

About the Role

Philip Morris International is accelerating productivity through the responsible adoption of AI. In PM Ukraine, we implement a business-driven AI transformation model combining clear governance with decentralized execution.

As Project Manager – AI Champion, you will lead the large-scale adoption of AI across the organization—converting potential into tangible business impact. Acting as both a change leader and product owner, you will build and manage a portfolio of AI use cases, ensure effective delivery, and embed AI into everyday ways of working.

This role is ideally suited for an external AI practitioner with proven implementation experience, strong change management capabilities, and a solid project/program management background.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive AI Adoption & Change

• Develop and deliver the AI adoption roadmap across functions
• Lead engagement initiatives (campaigns, demos, learning sessions) to drive awareness and sustained usage
• Partner with business and enabling functions (IT, Data, P&C, Communications, Legal) to remove barriers and accelerate adoption

2. Own AI Use Case Portfolio (Product Ownership)

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of AI use cases (intake to deployment and review)
• Translate business needs into prioritized, value-driven use cases
• Act as Product Owner for selected initiatives, defining scope, outcomes, and success metrics

3. Establish Responsible AI Governance

• Implement a pragmatic governance framework (standards, controls, approval checkpoints)
• Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and responsible AI principles

4. Enable Cross-Functional Delivery

• Coordinate cross-functional teams and establish clear delivery cadence and transparency
• Engage external expertise when required while maintaining internal ownership

5. Lead PMO Capability

• Manage and develop two PMO Specialists
• Establish standardized tools, processes, and reporting for effective execution

Requirements

Must-Have (in priority order)

• Proven experience delivering AI / GenAI solutions in business environments
• Strong change management and stakeholder engagement capabilities
• Solid project / program management experience in cross-functional settings

Nice-to-Have

• Product Owner experience
• PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile or similar certification
• Understanding of AI governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
