About the role
As a Manager Business Analytics & Efficiency, you will bridge the gap between IT and the business, turning data into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders. You will scope business questions, translate them into actionable analytics solutions, and drive adoption to deliver measurable value across the market.
Key responsibilities
- Lead analytics initiatives for business questions/needs within a specific functional domain. Manage data-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Build strong partnerships with senior stakeholders (Brand, Commercial, Consumer, Programs) and size opportunities through data‑driven consulting.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts and Data Scientists to ensure data-driven recommendations are based on robust analysis. Translate business questions into tangible analytics solutions and influence business leaders with data-backed insights.
- Manage analytics products within a specific functional area for the market. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver agreed outcomes, including individuals with various analytics capabilities.
- Provide problem-solving support to the product team during analytics solution conceptualization and delivery. Drive the adoption and value proposition of analytics solutions in the market.
- Utilize agile methodology to deliver value in an iterative, incremental manner. Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to provide actionable insights.
- Develop data models to support business processes and decision-making. Create detailed reports and interactive dashboards using BI tools.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Maintain comprehensive documentation of methodologies and processes. Identify opportunities for process improvements based on data analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in data analysis or business analysis roles.
- Experience with SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI to create interactive dashboards.
- Experience with data governance principles to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, negotiation, and influence skills.
- Excellent communication and data storytelling; ability to simplify complex topics for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and propose solutions.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Technical proficiency with Data & Analytics technologies.
- Experience with multiple iterations of successful Agile delivery for analytical solutions.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and provide meaningful insights.
- Storytelling skills to get data to tell a story in a simple manner.
- Ability to perform ad hoc analysis and share results effectively.
