Position Title:  Accounting Specialist

POSITION PURPOSE: Maintain, analyze and reconcile accounting entries and balances, participate in finance projects, provide management with the appropriate information for planning and decision-making, prepare analytical calculations upon management request, prepare and submit statistics reports based on IFRS for Ukrainian entities.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain consistency and accuracy of financial records in the Company's financial systems to ensure accurate and timely data reflection in line with US GAAP, IFRS and the Company's financial policy and procedures
• Analyze cost-of-sales entries, reconcile inventory balances, prepare adjustments (if necessary)
• Analyze CAPEX-related entries, ensure timely and correct Fixed Assets capitalization and depreciation, prepare internal reporting in CAPEX and Fixed Assets areas, prepare necessary adjustments (if necessary)
• Provide effective business partnership and support via appropriate consultancies on accounting matters in the scope of responsibilities.
• Participate in finance and business-related projects, drive process simplifications and improvements, collaborate with various Finance teams
• Participate in yearly IFRS audit activities, prepare necessary calculations / documents based on management requests
• Prepare/submit regular and ad hoc reports on financial activities of the Company in accordance with accountings standards and Company's schedules to support management decisions
• Prepare and submit statistics reporting based on IFRS

REQUIREMENTS:

• Accounting/Audit/Economic/Finance University degree
• Knowledge of Ukrainian accounting legislation & requirements
• 2–3-years experience in accounting/finance in international or credible local company
• Base understanding of IFRS principles
• Advanced Excel skills
• Upper-intermediate English, fluent Ukrainian
• ACCA, DipIFR or similar certificates will be considered as a huge advantage
• Experience with SAP will be considered as an advantage
